Providing fresh picked fun and a connection to agriculture
We are excited to share that Pack House Farm anticipates opening for the 2026 berry picking season on Saturday, June 13th!
As we prepare for our seventh season of welcoming families to the farm, we continue to be grateful for the support of our community and for everyone who chooses to spend part of their summer with us. Every season is a little different on a small farm, but these things never change — we love seeing kids experience agriculture firsthand, families making memories together, and visitors leaving with fresh berries and dirty shoes.
For many families, a trip to the farm has become a summer tradition. Some children who first visited us in strollers are now carrying their own berry buckets into the field. Watching those memories grow year after year is one of the most rewarding parts of farming.
Our blueberry and blackberry crops look promising, and we are hopeful for a great season ahead. So far 2026 has given us late frosts, an April heatwave, and a burn ban due to an unexpected Spring drought. As always, Mother Nature will have the final say, but we are looking forward to opening and sharing the experience with you.
We have a couple of special events planned this summer:
Saturday, June 20th
She Farms Apex Tour
We are honored to once again participate in the She Farms Apex Tour, which highlights women in agriculture and local farms throughout our area. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit several local farms, learn more about agriculture, and support small businesses right here in our community.
Saturday, July 4th
Fourth of July Celebration
We are honored to once again participate in the She Farms Apex Tour, which highlights women in agriculture and local farms throughout our area. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit several local farms, learn more about agriculture, and support small businesses right here in our community.
As opening day approaches, we encourage everyone to follow our Facebook page and check our website regularly for updates on berry availability, picking conditions, weather announcements, and farm hours. Berry season is short, and the best picking days can go quickly.
If you have visited us before, thank you for supporting our family farm. If this will be your first visit, we hope you will come experience what makes local agriculture special.
Bring the kids. Bring a friend. Tell your neighbors. Come spend a summer morning on the farm with us.
We look forward to seeing everyone this summer, at Pack House Farm!
